Montis isn't a chat window sitting beside your work. It's an application installed on the computer, and it acts on it.

Opening a file, finding a quote, launching an application, opening a site, printing, tidying the windows. You say it, it does it — and nothing until you've said it: it never starts anything on its own.

It speaks, and it listens to you

Your voice is transcribed on Montis infrastructure, not at a third party. You talk to it like a colleague: it answers aloud, word by word, without waiting for the end of its sentence, and you can interrupt it.

It remembers

Your files, your customers, your habits, what you told it last week. A lasting memory that belongs to you alone: you can read it and correct it, and nobody else reads it — not even your company's administrator.

It asks before committing

Nothing irreversible goes out without you. Sending an email, deleting a file, changing a price: it states in one sentence what it is about to do, and waits for your go-ahead. Its autonomy stops where an action can't be taken back, and everything it does stays visible in its log.

It reads your email and your calendar, if you want it to

Nothing is connected by default. You add your sources one at a time — a mailbox, a calendar, contacts — read-only or read-write, removable in one click. It sees only what you have connected.

It knows your company

Procedures, catalogue, who does what, how you speak to customers: a shared company knowledge base that every assistant consults. It flows down to them and nothing flows back — what an assistant knows about its person is never poured into it.

It keeps itself current

The application checks for new versions and installs them itself, without calling on your IT person. You keep the same assistant throughout, it simply gains new abilities — its access rights stay exactly as you set them.

It strings things together

« Get the meeting with Martin ready »: it opens the quote, the calendar, the route, and sums up your last exchanges. One sentence, several actions — and the chain stops by itself the moment a step commits you: there, it hands back to you.

One assistant per person, not a shared account

Laura's assistant knows Laura. Nicolas's knows Nicolas. Neither knows what the other said, searched for or received. That separation isn't an option you switch on — it's how Montis is built.

Your data goes nowhere

The Montis brain runs on dedicated infrastructure, not at one of the cloud giants. Voice is transcribed there too. Your conversations train no model, and the publisher has access neither to your memory nor to your company knowledge base.

It carries things out, it doesn't just answer

A chatbot explains how to do it. Montis does it: it opens, searches, writes, sends, schedules, on your computer, with your tools. That's the difference between a search engine and a colleague.

You set its access, source by source

Nothing is open by default. Email, calendar, files, invoices: each source can be switched on or off independently, computer by computer. Montis reads only the data you give it.

Your company's administrator also keeps control at team level.

A meeting

Thirty minutes by video or phone. We look at your trades, your tools, your headcount. You choose your plan and receive the company code that ties your assistants to your business.

Installation

Each person receives Montis, opens it, enters the code, their first name, how they want to be addressed, and the name they give their assistant. Five minutes, no technician.

Connecting it up

They connect their mailbox, their calendar, whatever they want. The company administrator uploads the shared knowledge. From there, everyone works with their own assistant.

What people ask usbefore signing

Which computers does Montis run on?+

Mac first — Apple silicon and Intel — with an application signed and notarised by Apple, then Windows. We open company by company, after a demonstration: that's when you receive the application and your company code. A companion version for phones is being looked at: a phone doesn't let an application act on other applications, so Montis will have a narrower role there.

Where is my company's data stored?+

On the dedicated infrastructure that hosts the Montis brain, encrypted, in a space of its own for your company and, inside it, a space of its own for each person. Your people's files stay on their computers: Montis opens them, it doesn't copy them. For organisations that want it, hosting on their own infrastructure can be quoted.

Can my colleague see what I said to my assistant?+

No. Each assistant has its own memory, and knows only that one. If Nicolas asks his assistant what Laura said, he gets nothing, because it holds nothing. Your company's administrator doesn't read personal memories either: they manage access and shared knowledge, not conversations.

What happens when someone leaves the company?+

Their assistant is deleted: its personal memory is wiped, and they can ask for an export beforehand. The company knowledge base and their colleagues' assistants are untouched. Billing follows: you only pay for active assistants.

Can Montis send an email on my behalf without my knowing?+

No. Anything that commits your company or can't be undone goes through your approval: sending, deleting, paying, changing a price. It states what it is about to do in one sentence and waits for your « ok ». Every action is logged and can be reviewed.

Do we need a technician to install it?+

No. Installation takes a few minutes per computer, and the assistant walks you through the permissions itself. For the Business and Group plans, we support the rollout across your teams.
